A Practical Path into Sustainable Tourism

We teach what actually works in the field. Not theory for theory's sake, but the kind of knowledge that makes you valuable to employers who are serious about reducing their environmental impact.

Our curriculum comes from real projects. Think carbon footprint calculations for hotel chains, designing low-impact tour itineraries, and helping businesses switch to greener suppliers without breaking their budgets.

Most of our instructors still work in the industry. They bring current challenges into the classroom and help you understand what sustainable travel looks like when budgets and deadlines are real.

How the Program Works

We break the learning into three phases over ten months. Each phase builds on what came before, and you'll work on actual projects that mirror what you'd encounter in a real job.

1

Foundation Period

  • Environmental science basics
  • Travel industry operations
  • Sustainability frameworks
  • Data collection methods
2

Applied Skills

  • Impact assessment tools
  • Supplier evaluation
  • Program design workshops
  • Client communication
3

Professional Practice

  • Real client projects
  • Portfolio development
  • Industry networking
  • Job search strategies

How You'll Actually Learn This Stuff

Project-Based Modules

You'll tackle assignments based on real situations. One month you might be calculating emissions for a small tour operator. The next, you're redesigning an accommodation provider's waste management system.

Small Group Sessions

Classes cap at fifteen people. This isn't a lecture hall situation. You'll get direct feedback on your work and plenty of time to ask specific questions about your own ideas.

Industry Collaborations

Starting in month five, you'll work with actual businesses on current challenges they're facing. Some of these turn into paid consulting gigs after graduation, though we can't promise that for everyone.

Flexible Schedule Options

Evening and weekend sessions accommodate people who are working full-time. Most assignments have two-week windows so you can manage around your existing commitments.
